Colors
Easton Industries
offers more than 40 color options and combinations. You’re sure
to find a color of cultured marble, cultured onyx or Eastonite
that fits your design plans. The manufacturing process is both
science and art. No two pieces of cultured products are ever exactly the
same. The variations and quantity of marble veining give
cultured marble and onyx their unique character and appeal.
However, you need a company with experience that can take this
process and make it consistent from one day to the next. A
customer who buys a shower pan today must be able to have
matching wall panels and vanity tops a week or two later.
Easton has been producing cultured marble, onyx and Eastonite
for more than 30 years, much longer than any other company in the Grand Strand
area. We also have the largest showroom in the area, so we can
show you almost every color as a finished product rather than a
small chip or sample.
Cultured Marble
Quarried from mines
in Georgia, cultured marble is real stone crushed into a powder
and blended with polyester resin to create
a matrix similar to
cake batter. Cultured marble colors typically have a backround
color and a veining color whose contrast is visible at the
surface of the material. We can take any pair of colors in our
assortment and combine them for a blend that matches your décor.
Cultured Onyx
This product is
unlike anything else in the market today. The combination of
stone and resin in onyx produces a translucent product that
allows you to see the veining patterns throughout the thickness
of the material. If you hold it up to the light,
you can see
right through the product, seeing the 3 dimensional quality of
the veining as it weaves its way throughout the cultured onyx.
Rich and luxurious color shades and variations are the unique
characteristic of this product and separate it from
all the
others. Cultured onyx is an upgrade item and costs 50% more
than cultured marble.
EASTONITE
Made in the same
process as cultured marble and onyx, Eastonite looks like
granite or solid surface but costs only half the price. It is
popular in both kitchens and baths. Unlike natural stone or
solid surface, Eastonite can be used for the tub, shower and
vanity top for a complete matching master bath. Kitchen
counters done in Eastonite are beautiful and durable, featuring
a permanent, clear gelcoat finish that is non-porous and
resilient to everyday wear and tear. There is no sealing or
resealing required and the countertop is stain and bacteria
resistant. Eastonite is an upgrade item that costs 50% more
than cultured marble, however, this is typically half the price
of natural stone or Corian. |
