All products manufactured
and installed by Easton Industries are guaranteed for a period of
FIVE YEARS from the date of purchase. This warranty covers
defective product and improper workmanship. This warranty shall not
apply to failures resulting from negligence, abuse or installation
by someone other than an Easton Industries employee. This warranty
also does not apply to adhesive and sealing products used in the
installation of our products as these are provided and manufactured
by others and have their own specific product warranty.
Since every cast polymer product we make is custom made, no two
pieces are exactly alike. Some color shades, veining patterns and
amounts vary from piece to piece. The finished bathroom or kitchen
is comprised of many pieces that are individually unique, but blend
together as a unit to complete a beautiful finished product.
The
shiny finish on all of our products is a durable gelcoat that is
non-porous and protects the item from stains and minor scratches.
With proper care and cleaning, your bath or kitchen will look
“showroom new” for many years to come.
Make
sure that you clean our products with non-abrasive cleansers
available at any grocery store. Most cleaning products will list
cultured marble on the label if they are safe to use with our
materials. Abrasive cleansers like Comet and Soft Scrub are not
recommended for cleaning our products as these will dull the shiny
gelcoat finish.
To
help maintain the high gloss, we recommend the use of “Gel-Gloss”, a
cleaner/polisher that is available in our showroom. “Gel-Gloss” is
an aerosol wax with cleaning agents that brings the shine of our
products to a high luster. It is also great to use on other
products like fiberglass, ceramic and acrylic.
Scratches and chips can be easily repaired by our service
professionals. Don’t hesitate to call if you have an accident that
requires a repair.
Bathroom shower and tub joints are sealed with mildew resistant 100%
silicone sealant. Although this silicone contains chemicals to
repel the growth of mildew, if you allow soap scum and body oils to
build up on the surface, mildew can form and attach itself to the
surface. We recommend bi-weekly cleaning of the shower walls and
joints to keep mildew from having a chance to attach itself to these
silicone joints in your shower or tub. Regular use of exhaust fans
and keeping the shower area well ventilated will also reduce the
risk of mildew buildup. However, if mildew does form, the silicone
can be simply stripped out and replaced under dry conditions.
We
hope these tips on cleaning and care for our products will keep you
“worry-free” as you enjoy your new bath or kitchen. |
